Overview If you conceal a rifle on a daily basis, this course will solidify your confidence and abilities if you are ever in a situation where you need to draw your firearm. This 1 day course will cover the essential physical and mental aspects of concealed carry firearms and run you though realistic scenarios. Upon completion of Defensive Concealed Rifle, students will be able to perform with their firearm under stress in the real world. Experience Requirements Rifle 1 or an approved equivalent course is required to participate in Defensive Concealed Rifle. Rifle 2 is recommended but not required. Course Outline - Review of Gun Safety and Shooting Fundamentals - Legal Basics - A review of Texas Law Drawing from concealment / bags Combat accuracy - Techniques to accelerate target acquisition and follow up shots - Combat reloads Shooting on the move Engaging Multiple targets Use of Cover and Concealment - Recoil Management Equipment List Required -Semi-Automatic Rifle (Center fire rifles only - no .22 caliber rifles allowed) - 2 30 round capacity magazines Sling Aiming method already zero’d - Magazine Holster - Eye and Ear protection Weather-appropriate clothing for active participation Garments capable of concealing a firearm Recommended - Sunscreen / Bugspray - Hat / Sunglasses - Snacks - Weapon Maintenance Kit - Note Taking Material Ammunition 500 rounds of Rifle ammunition is required to complete this course Discounts The following discounts can be assessed after contacting info@ivoryacademytraining.com.
